Yadadri Yoddhas edged past Kakatiya Knights 28-26 in a close kabaddi clash, while Basara Vidyuts recorded a strong 40-31 win over Bhagyanagar Titans in the Yuva Telangana Championship

Hyderabad: Yadadri Yoddhas clinched a narrow 28-26 victory over Kakatiya Knights in the Yuva Telangana Kabaddi Championship held here on Sunday.

For the Yoddhas, G. Ganapathi was named Best Raider while J. Srinath impressed as Best Defender. Kakatiya Knights’ standout performers were Raghuvender Reddy (Best Raider) and Sharandeep (Best Defender).

In another fixture, Basara Vidyuts secured a commanding 40-31 win against Bhagyanagar Titans.

Shankh and Anil were named Best Raider and Best Defender respectively for Basara, while Ravi and Gouri Shanker earned the same honours for Bhagyanagar.
