Young couple commits suicide in Nizamabad

They wanted to get married and proposed the same to their parents. But reportedly their proposal was refused.

Nizamabad: Upset after their parents refused to get them married, a man and his girlfriend committed suicide by hanging themselves from a tree, at Mamidipally village of Armoor mandal of Nizamabad, on Saturday.

According to the sources, the deceased have been identified as Rohit (20), a resident of Uploor village of Kammarpally mandal and Avanthika (18), a resident of Kukunoor village of Velpur mandal. Rohit was in love with Avanthika for the last one year. They wanted to get married and proposed the same to their parents. But reportedly their proposal was refused. Dejected with this, the duo took the extreme step to end lives.
