Young driver with criminal history murdered by three in Adilabad
Police said that Kommavar Ravi Teja (30), a car driver from Indiranagar was stabbed to death by Karthik, Sai Kumar and Siddu belonging to the same locality and surrounding places at 3 am.
Adilabad: A youngster was brutally murdered by allegedly three persons at an agriculture market yard in Indiranagar here early on Tuesday morning.
Police said that Kommavar Ravi Teja (30), a car driver from Indiranagar was stabbed to death by Karthik, Sai Kumar and Siddu belonging to the same locality and surrounding places at 3 am.
Ravi Teja’s body was found in a pool of blood by morning walkers at the market yard. The walkers informed the police about the body. Police rushed to the spot and made inquiries into the incident.
Based on a complaint received from Pravallika, the wife of Ravi Teja, a murder case was registered against Karthik, Sai Kumar and Siddu. Pravallika alleged that the three nursed a grudge against Ravi Teja for declining to join their faction. She accused them of eliminating her husband, following some previous enmity as well.
Police said that Ravi Teja was involved in five crimes, while accused persons were carrying criminal history. A gang led by Teja and another faction belonging to Karthik used to be logger heads at regular intervals. The factions were vying to have domination in certain areas of the town.
Police stated that investigations were taken up. More details could be known only after completing investigations.
