Young golfer Vivaan Pinnapareddy shines in junior circuit
Hyderabad golfer Vivaan Pinnapareddy continues to impress in the junior circuit, winning the Junior Golf Championship Category C title and securing multiple podium finishes in national tournaments, strengthening his ambition to represent India in international competitions
Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s young golfer Vivaan Pinnapareddy has emerged as one of the best young talents from the city with his consistent performances.
Vivaan won the Junior Golf Championship, organised by Hyderabad Golf Association, in February. He won the Category C title with a score of 79. Vivaan, who started playing golf at the age of seven, has won several state and national-level tournaments in the last four years.
The young golfer also won the 2021 HGJ Junior Open and the 2023 Young Masters Golf Tour. Vivaan, who finished runner-up in the 2022 HG Junior Open and 2024 HG South Zone Golf Championship, also finished second runner-up in the Madras Gymkhana golf tournament in Chennai.
In all, Vivaan, who started playing golf at the age of seven inspired by his grandfather’s love for the sport, has won three state championships and finished runner-up nine times. He is targeting to represent India soon and has backed this dream with consistent performances in the junior age group at both state and national-level tournaments.
