Young man stabbed to death in Mirchowk, three detained

A young man identified as Ahmed alias Ameer was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in Mirchowk, Hyderabad, on Friday night. Police detained three people, including a woman, and are investigating financial and personal dispute angles

Hyderabad: A young man was brutally stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in Mirchowk on Friday night.

The victim, identified as Ahmed alias Ameer, was attacked with knives and suffered fatal injuries, dying on the spot.

A previous enmity over a financial issue or an extra-marital affair is suspected to be the reason.

Following the incident, Mirchowk Police Station police rushed to the scene and secured the area. A Clues Team was deployed to collect forensic evidence.

It is learnt that three people, including a woman, were detained in connection with the case.
The body was later shifted to Osmania General Hospital for an autopsy.

The police have registered a case and are investigating. Efforts are on to trace the attackers and ascertain the motive behind the crime.
