Young medico found dead in Miyapur hotel room

A 27-year-old postgraduate medical student pursuing Paediatrics at a medical college in Hanamkonda was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a hotel room in Hyderabad's Miyapur area.

Hyderabad: A 27-year-old postgraduate medical student was found dead under suspicious circumstances at a hotel in Miyapur on Friday.

According to police, Srujana was pursuing a first-year PG in Pediatrics at a medical college in Hanamkonda. She had reportedly arrived in Hyderabad on September 30, and subsequently went missing.

Police traced her mobile phone location to the Hotel Grand Brochil in Miyapur. When they reached the hotel and opened the room, Srujana was found dead on the bed.

Miyapur police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
