Young Singareni officer dies by suicide in Godavarikhani
Thappetla Pawan Kumar (27), a Senior Mining Sardar with Singareni Collieries, was found hanging in his quarters at 8 Incline Colony, Godavarikhani, on Saturday morning. His parents expressed doubts over the incident as police registered a case and began investigation.
Peddapalli: A young officer of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), Thappetla Pawan Kumar (27), died by suicide on Saturday morning. He was found hanging in his residential quarters at 8 Incline Colony, Godavarikhani.
A native of Malliala in Mahabubabad district, Pawan was working as Senior Mining Sardar at the Adriyala Longwall Project and staying in quarter no. SC2-175 near the shopping complex in 8 Incline Colony.
His parents have expressed doubts over the circumstances of his death. Godavarikhani Town-2 CI Prasada Rao and CI-2 Lingamurthy visited the spot and registered a case. Investigation is underway.
