Hyderabad: A local court in LB Nagar on Monday sentenced a man to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment in the rape case of a minor girl in Yacharam in 2017. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 3,000 on him.
The convicted person R Naresh (20) from Konda Mallepally mandal in Nalgonda district developed friendship with the 17-year-old girl and on the promise of marriage, raped her several times. Based on the girl’s complaint, the Yacharam police booked a case and arrested Naresh.
