Hyderabad: The Nallakunta police arrested a youngster on charges of chain snatching and recovered a gold chain weighing 13.7 grams from him on Wednesday. Vaddy Shiva (26), a resident of Musheerabad, allegedly snatched a gold chain from a woman at Nallakunta last month.

After snatching the chain, he sold it and used the money for buying liquor and other personal needs, the Nallakunta police said. The police caught him with the help of footage from surveillance cameras. The police also tracked down the receiver of the gold chain and recovered the chain.
