Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao reaffirmed his faith in judiciary and exuded confidence to make a stronger comeback than the setback suffered, after the Telangana High Court dismissed his quash petition against the Formula-E race case. He vowed to continue his fight for truth, so that the world would also witness it soon.
“Mark my words, our comeback will be stronger than this setback,” he declared. “Your lies won’t shatter me. Your words won’t diminish me. Your actions won’t obscure my vision. This cacophony won’t silence me,” he asserted.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Rama Rao reiterated his respect for the judiciary and strong belief that justice will prevail. “Today’s obstacles will give way to tomorrow’s triumph. Truth will shine brighter with time,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate issued fresh notices to the BRS working president, summoning him for questioning in connection with the Formula-E race case. He has been asked to appear before the ED for questioning on January 16. Though he was summoned for questioning on Tuesday, he requested the ED for postponement citing the petition in the High Court.
The ACB also asked him to come for questioning on January 9. Earlier, notices were served to appear for questioning on Monday, in this regard. Though he reached the ACB office with his advocates, the police did not allow him and the latter was forced to give a written reply to the notices.
