Youth electrocuted, another injured while shifting Ganesh idol in Kamareddy

A 19-year-old youth died and another man was seriously injured in Arepally village, Kamareddy, after coming in contact with a live wire while shifting a Ganesh idol. The injured person was admitted to the Government General Hospital in Kamareddy

Kamareddy: A 19-year-old youth died on the spot and another person sustained grievous injuries at Arepally village on Tuesday after they came in contact with a live wire while shifting a Ganesh idol.

The deceased was identified as T Laxminarayana, a native of Rajanna Sircilla. The injured, 25-year-old Sai, also from Rajanna Sircilla, was immediately shifted to the Government General Hospital in Kamareddy.

According to reports, the incident occurred on the outskirts of Arepally village when the duo was transporting the Ganesh idol from Perkit in Nizamabad to Rajanna Sircilla.
