Youth electrocuted in Mahabubabad’s Dornakal
A 26-year-old man died of electrocution while trimming neem tree branches in Mahabubabad district. Residents of his thanda staged a road protest with his body, placed thorny bushes across the road and demanded justice for his bereaved family
Mahabubabad: Tension prevailed briefly at Bodrai Thanda in Dornakal mandal of Mahabubabad district on Tuesday after a 26-year-old youth died of electrocution.
The deceased, Daramsoth Akhil, a resident of Mallaiahkunta Thanda, reportedly fell from a neem tree after suffering an electric shock when he came into contact with live wires while trimming its branches.
Demanding justice for the bereaved family, residents of Mallaiahkunta Thanda staged a road protest with the body. They placed thorny bushes across the road, disrupting traffic and creating tension in the area.
Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and brought the situation under control.
