Warangal: District Education Officer (DEO) Vasathi launched a mobile lab – Lab on Wheels – at Adalat Centre in Hanamkonda on Thursday. This mobile lab was developed and is being maintained by the Youth for Seva.
Speaking on the occasion, the DEO said that the Lab on Wheels was a boon to students studying the government schools. “In a world of increasing competition, this mobile vehicle will help every student studying in government schools to compete with students from corporate schools. We can achieve good results through this special facility,” she added.
“The main objective of the mobile science vehicle is to develop the subject knowledge on science for the students studying in government schools, to conduct classes for them in a way that motivates them towards developing interest in the science subject, to help them make new discoveries, to promote the students towards more skills in science and practical knowledge,” said Youth for Seva, Warangal Chapter, Coordinator Polasa Mallikarjun, and added that Youth for Seva was a nation-wide volunteering movement which inspires youth to volunteer and provides them with meaningful opportunities to serve the community.
Members of the organisation Vijayalakshmi, Malathi, Sridevi, PRO Ramanna, Narasimha Chary, Kandi Srinivas Reddy, Advisor E Ravinder, Rakesh Reddy, CSR Project Coordinator Vishal, Srisailam, District Science Officer Srinivas and others attended the programme.
