Youth from Bhupalpally ends life in lodge in Karimnagar
A 30-year-old man from Jayashankar Bhupalpally district was found dead in a lodge room at Huzurabad. Police said he had checked in with a friend a day earlier. A case has been registered and investigation is under way.
Karimnagar: A youngster, Vadlakonda Chiranjeevi (30), died by suicide in a lodge in Huzurabad after hanging himself in the lodge room.
According to police, a native of Mandalonipalli in Tekumatla mandal of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, Chiranjeevi, along with his friend Santhosh, had rented a room in the lodge on January 9.
Santhosh, who left the lodge on Saturday evening, tried to contact Chiranjeevi over the phone on Sunday but in vain. As there was no response, Santhosh visited the lodge on Sunday evening and was shocked to find Chiranjeevi dead.
He was found hanging from the ceiling when Santhosh and the lodge staff looked into the room through the window.
On being informed about the incident, the police visited the spot, registered a case and took up investigation.
