Youth meets watery grave in Telangana’s Siddipet

The incident occurred when Bingi Akhil ventured into an open well along with his friends at Salakpur

Siddipet: A youth Bingi Akhil (19) of Cheriyal, who ventured into an open well for swimming, drowned at Salakpur in Maddur mandal on Saturday.

Akhil arrived at the village to attend a function at a relative’s home. He went swimming in an open well along with his friends from the village. However, he did not know how to swim well.

A pall of gloom descended on the village as a visitor to the village met a watery grave. The body was retrieved. A case was registered.
