YouTuber Fun Bucket Bhargav sentenced to 20 years in prison for raping 14-year-old girl

Hyderabad: On January 10, 2025, a special court in Vijayawada sentenced YouTuber Bhargav, also known as Fun Bucket Bhargav, to 20 years in prison for assaulting a 14-year-old girl in 2021.
The court also ordered him to pay Rs 4,00,000 in compensation to the victim.
Bhargav was arrested by Vijayawada police in Hyderabad in 2021 and was initially placed under judicial remand. He was later granted bail, but six months later, his bail was revoked by the court due to a violation of bail conditions, and he was arrested again.
He was remanded for three years under the POCSO Act, along with other related sections.
Bhargav had lured the girl with promises of offering roles in TV serials. The incident came to light when the girl, who was four months pregnant, informed her mother, who then filed a complaint with the Vijayawada police.
