YouTuber Masthan Sai arrested in Hyderabad for attempting to murder woman

Victim alleges that he tried to strangulate her at her residence; says accused is after a hard disk that contains explicit videos of drugged girls

Hyderabad: The Narsingi police arrested YouTuber Ravi Bavaji Masthan Sai for allegedly attempting to murder a woman when she refused to part with a hard disk that reportedly contained explicit content.

The victim had previously lodged a complaint and a case was booked against actor Raj Tarun for allegedly cheating her on the pretext of marriage.

The woman, in her complaint, alleged that Masthan Sai (33), along with his friend Shaik Khaja Mohiuddin (36), trespassed into her house on January 31 and tried to strangulate her.

He also damaged several household articles and closed circuit cameras.

On Sunday, Masthan Sai again visited her and demanded that she return the hard disk, which allegedly contains explicit videos, and held the victim’s brother hostage.

“The woman came to the police station and handed over the hard disk, alleging that it contained several videos of women and girls. We have seized it and are verifying the content,” Narsingi Inspector G Hari Krishna Reddy said.

The police arrested Masthan Sai and Shaik Khaja, and remanded them.

In her complaint against Masthan Sai, she also alleged that he drugged girls and women, filmed their videos and stored them in the hard disk.

She demanded that the police do justice to the women who were victimised and blackmailed by Masthan Sai.
