Vijayawada: The YSR Congress Party will speak on the alleged illegal projects taken up by Telangana and seek notifying the Krishna River Management Board jurisdiction in the Parliament, according to Rajya Sabha member Vijay Sai Reddy.
Talking to media persons here after a meeting of the YSRCP Parliamentary Party here on Thursday, he said that the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy had given the MPs a direction on the strategy to be adopted during the monsoon session of the Parliament to be held from July 19 to August 13.
The party would reiterate its demands on implementation of bifurcation promises and special category status for Andhra Pradesh for which it had been fighting since the beginning, he stated. “There is no question of compromise on special category status for the state. The revised estimates for the Polavaram project and also the release of funds due from the Centre will be raised,” he said.
The MP also alleged that Telangana was due Rs.6,112 crore towards power for AP.
