Los Angeles: The makers of psychological drama series “Euphoria”, featuring Hollywood star Zendaya, have confirmed the show concluded with the third season.
Created by Sam Levinson, the first season of the series released in 2019, followed by another season in 2022. The show revolves around the lives of a group of high school students in East Highland, California, as they navigate love, trauma, identity, and the pressures of youth culture.
It also features Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi, among others.
According to the entertainment news outlet Variety, Levinson, who also serves as a writer and director on the series, announced the news on Popcast, the New York Times’ music podcast. Following, the streaming platform shared the news with the outlet.
The initial season of “Euphoria”, which consisted of eight episodes, went on to emerge as a cultural phenomenon, with the next season receiving an average of 16.3 million viewers per episode. It also consisted of eight episodes.
The third season, which started streaming in April, featured a time jump and followed the main characters out of school. It also features Chloe Cherry, Alanna Ubach and Toby Wallace, among others.
