He was speaking at a meeting of Vice-Chancellors of universities in the State here on Monday to discuss the matter of online student academic verification to curb the menace of fake certificates and to help job providers and job seekers with fast verification.
Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had stressed on wiping out the menace of fake certificates, the DGP asked the Vice-Chancellors to work with the National Academic Depository via DigiLocker and upload data as much as and as early as possible. While the work on DigiLocker was in progress, he called for a parallel system at the State level by updating the data automatically utilising the available modern web technologies.
āA system of machine to machine exchange of data between the State-level TSCHE server and university server must be established to achieve automatic data capture at the point of data generation,ā he said, urging university authorities to file police complaints whenever a fake certificate was detected.
The session was chaired by TSCHE chairman Prof R Limbadri.
