ZF launches second edition of NexGen Nexus program with VNR VJIET Hyderabad

ZF, the German technology leader, launched the second edition of its NexGen Nexus 2025 program in Hyderabad in partnership with VNR VJIET. The initiative mentors engineering students, offering industry exposure and training to bridge the academia–industry gap

Hyderabad: ZF, a leading German technology company and a global pioneer in driveline and chassis technology, inaugurated the second edition of its prestigious program “NexGen Nexus – 2025” in collaboration with VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET), Hyderabad.

In the first edition, experienced ZF engineers mentored final-year undergraduate students across various engineering disciplines, making the program a remarkable success. Following the same path, the second edition has also received an overwhelming response from students.


The program was led by Philippe Gasnier, Senior Vice President of Engineering at ZF, and Dr C D Naidu, Principal of VNRVJIET. Also present at the occasion were Holger Kraft, Vice President – Software Development, ZF, Krishnaswamy Jambunathan, Vice President & Head – Tech Center India, ZF, and Ashok Kumar Jha, Director of Engineering, ZF India.

Speaking on the occasion, company representatives highlighted that their aim is to bridge the gap between academia and industry by nurturing young engineers through training, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge automotive technologies.
