ZIGNASA 2K25: MLRIT hosts national-level 24-hour hackathon

Hyderabad: ZIGNASA 2K25, a 24-hour national-level hackathon organised by the Code Club of the CSE Department at MLR Institute of Technology, concluded on Saturday. The event brought together young innovators, designers, and developers from across the country for an intense and inspiring two-day technological challenge.
MLRIT founder secretary and Malkajgiri MLA, Marri Rajashekhar Reddy, said that 750 students participated in the hackathon, including 200 students from various external institutions across multiple states. Adding to the competitive spirit, 10 elite teams from IIT Madras and IIT Hyderabad took part in the open challenge, making ZIGNASA 2K25 one of the most diverse and high-impact hackathons hosted by MLRIT.
Participants competed across four innovation-driven tracks—Agentic AI, UI/UX Design, Web Development, and Vibe Coding—demonstrating creativity, endurance, and technical excellence. The event received significant support from Course Vita, Microsoft, and Deezign Partners, who contributed through mentorship, evaluation, and technological guidance.
The management of MLRIT, Chairman Marri Laxman Reddy, Vice Chairman Marri Dhiren Reddy, and Principal Dr K Srinivas Rao, appreciated the efforts of the Code Club.
