Hyderabad: In a heartwarming gesture, a couple from Ashwaraopet constituency in Bhadradri Kothagudem district brought their newborn to BRS working president KT Rama Rao, requesting him to name their son. Obliging their request, he named the boy Suryansh.
Lavanya and Rambabu, who hail from Annapureddypalli mandal in Ashwaraopet, met Rama Rao at Telangana Bhavan on Monday and requested him to perform the naming ceremony for their newborn. Moved by their affection, he enquired if they had any particular starting letter for the baby’s name. Upon learning that the family elders suggested a name beginning with “Su,” he recalled his own son Himanshu’s name and christened the boy Suryansh. He also presented the couple with a KCR Kit.
The couple turned emotional and thanked Rama Rao for his blessings, calling it the most unforgettable moment of their lives. “We will cherish this memory forever. We believe that with his blessings, our son will grow to become a great person like him,” they said. They also recalled the opportunities and respect given to them under BRS leadership, including Rambabu’s election as a ZPTC. “That is why we chose to share this important moment of our family life with our leader,” they explained.
