Zubair, Shoba win titles in 2nd Telangana State Veterans Table Tennis Ranking Tournament held in Hyderabad
In the finals, Zubair triumphed over G Tirthadip of GSM 11-7, 8-11, 11-6, 11-9 to emerge as the champion, while in the hard-fought women’s final, Shoba edged past I Vinuta of HDTTA 11-7, 6-11, 11-6, 9-11, 11-9.
Hyderabad: Mohd Zubair Farooqui of AWA and V Shoba Rani of GTTA clinched the men’s and women’s 39+ category titles, respectively, in the 2nd Telangana State Veterans Table Tennis Ranking Tournament in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
In the finals, Zubair triumphed over G Tirthadip of GSM 11-7, 8-11, 11-6, 11-9 to emerge as the champion, while in the hard-fought women’s final, Shoba edged past I Vinuta of HDTTA 11-7, 6-11, 11-6, 9-11, 11-9.
