1 Telangana Battalion NCC begins Annual Training Camp in Hyderabad
The 1 Telangana Battalion NCC under the Hyderabad Group has begun its Annual Training Camp–IV, with 650 cadets from 15 institutions participating. The programme focuses on discipline, leadership, weapon training and personality development, along with competitions and awareness sessions on social issues.

Hyderabad: 1 Telangana Battalion NCC under Hyderabad Group commenced the Annual Training Camp – IV (ATC-IV) for NCC cadets here on Friday.
Around 650 NCC cadets from 15 educational institutions across Hyderabad are participating in the camp, which is being managed by a team comprising Permanent Instructional (PI) Staff, State Government staff, and Associate NCC Officers (ANOs).
The training programme focuses on developing discipline, leadership qualities, and overall personality development. It includes weapon handling, firing practice, and lectures on various service-related subjects. Expert talks on road safety, drug abuse awareness, cybercrime prevention, and defence recruitment are also being organised.
The camp provides an effective platform for cadets to enhance physical fitness, mental alertness, social awareness, and a strong spirit of unity and camaraderie
Various inter-institution competitions, such as drill, song and dance, football, tug of war, drawing, and essay writing, are being conducted to promote teamwork and healthy competition among the cadets. The camp will conclude on May 31.
