Kothagudem: A minor boy drowned in a stream at Karakavagu village in Paloncha mandal in the district on Tuesday. The boy, S Rikshith Kumar (10) studying fourth class at Bollorugudem in Paloncha mandal came to his village after the school hours. He along with his friends went for a swim deep inside the stream where the water level was high. As he does not know how to swim drowned. Alerted by his friends the boy’s family members rushed to the stream and retrieved the body.

The local police booked a case in connection with the incident and launched an investigation into it.
