Karimnagar: Karimnagar police seized 100 quintals of PDS rice in Venkateshwarapalli village of Jammikunta mandal on Saturday evening. Two persons were taken into custody. The worth of the rice is Rs 2.70 lakh.

Based on reliable information, taskforce police conducted raids in Venkateshwarapalli and seized PDS rice ready for transport. Revelli Venkati and Revelli Ramu, residents of Venkateshwarapalli, were taken into custody.
