Hyderabad: The Kamatipura police arrested 11 persons including a woman for allegedly creating communal trouble at Puranapul on the night of Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
According to the police, the suspects, residents of Pardhiwada Puranapul, had assembled at the Puranapul Darwaza following an incident of vandalism at a temple.
The group then allegedly damaged a chilla, and property belonging to government and private persons, the police claimed.
Policemen who tried to control them were also attacked by the mob. Efforts are under way to nab the absconding suspects.
