13 held in Mancherial for assault in two separate incidents
Mancherial district witnessed two violent incidents resulting in the arrest of 13 individuals. In Kondapur village, a quarrel at a wine shop escalated into an assault on a youngster, while in Mandamarri, a group of youths attacked two men who confronted them over traffic violations.

Mancherial: Thirteen persons were arrested in two separate incidents of assault reported from Mancherial district.
In the first case, seven persons were booked for allegedly attacking a youngster following a quarrel at a wine shop in Kondapur village of Kasipet mandal on Saturday.
Police said Borlakunta Pranay, Ramtenki Chandraiah, Chunarkar Rajesh, Jadi Kiran, Durgam Shekhar, Borlakunta Praveen and Jadi Sagar from Kondapur and Komatichenu villages assaulted Gudem Ramchandar of Achyuth Rao Gudem after a petty dispute on Friday.
In the second incident, six youngsters were taken into custody for thrashing Banda Rakesh and Raviteja at Mandamarri town on Thursday. The accused were identified as Jilapalli Akash, Kota Mahesh, Rendra Srikanth, Danaboina Naveen Kumar, Puli Sathish and another Jilapalli Akash. They allegedly attacked Rakesh and Raviteja after the duo questioned them for violating traffic rules.
