135 more Telangana students return from Ukraine
Hyderabad: Another batch of 135 Telangana students returned safely from war-torn Ukraine on Sunday.
These students arrived at New Delhi and Mumbai airports by special flights from Ukraine’s neighbouring countries. The flights had taken off from Bucharest (Romania) Suceava (Romania), Budapest (Hungary), Rzeszow (Poland), and Košice (Slovakia).
At New Delhi airport, students were received by Telangana government officials and were transferred to Telangana Bhavan in Delhi where food and other arrangements were made for them. Telangana Bhavan Resident Commissioner, Dr. Gaurav Uppal interacted with students.
Apart from accommodation and food arrangements, the students were provided air tickets from New Delhi and Mumbai to Hyderabad. With this arrival, a total of 625 students have returned from Ukraine since February 26.
