Hyderabad: Director of Public Health (DPH) Dr G Srinivasa Rao on Friday said all returnees from the Kumbh Mela must undergo a quarantine of 14 days.

Dr. Rao said all the Kumbh Mela returnees in Telangana must ensure they do not interact with their family members while they are undergoing the two-week quarantine.


“I urge all the Kumbh Mela returnees to visit the nearest government healthcare facility, if they develop any kind of Covid-19 symptoms like fever, cough, cold etc for free Covid tests,” Dr Srinivasa Rao added.
