2-day holiday in Hyderabad and surrounding areas

The Government has also advised people not to come out unless there is an urgent necessity.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Goverment has declared public holidays in GHMC areas to all Government offices, all private institutions on Wednesday and Thursday  (October 14 and October15) according to an official press release here.

The decision to declare holidays was taken as per the directions of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The holiday order was issued by Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar.

The Chief Secretary has also advised the GHMC officials and district collectors to arrange relief camps and shift people living in low lying areas and inundated places to safer areas.

The Government has also advised people not to come out unless there is an urgent necessity.
