Nalgonda: Tragedy struck a family on Wednesday when two children died and three others including their parents and grandfather were injured in a freak accident in the town.
The deceased were identified as Gurunadham Dasli Kumar (5) and Gurunadham Sravan Kumar (3). Their parents Tirupathaiah and Anamma, and grandfather Tirupal suffered injuries when the motorcycle on which the family was travelling skidded while Tirupathaiah tried to avoid hitting a buffalo that came on to the road suddenly near FCI godown here. The five were on their way to their native place, Nallagolla village in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh from Bhongir.
While Sravan Kumar died on the spot, Dasli Kumar died while undergoing treatment at the Government General Hospital here. Nalgonda Town-II police filed a case and took up investigations.
