20 farm labourers sustain injuries in accident in Mahabubabad
The labourers were going to farms to pick the chillies.
Mahabubabad: Nearly 20 farm labourers sustained injuries as they had fallen off the tractor’s trailer on the outskirts of the Amangallu village in the district on Sunday. It is said that the door of the trailer had opened accidentally resulting in the fall of the people. The injured have been immediately rushed to the Mahabubabad government hospital for treatment. Some of them sustained fractures in the legs and hands in the incident, doctors said. The labourers were going to farms to pick the chillies.
Meanwhile, Minister for Tribal, Women and Child Welfare Satyavati Rathod had expressed shock over the tragic accident and spoke to the hospital superintendent and directed him to provide better treatment to the injured. She also promised to provide assistance to the injured as per the government norms.
