21-year-old hangs self over love affair in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: On Valentine’s Day on Sunday, a sheep businessman, committed suicide by hanging in washroom at his house at Sri Sai Nagar in Ziaguda here due to an alleged love affair.
Twenty-one-year-old Gaidhan Nithesh went to washroom in the early hours on Sunday. Since he did not come out, the family members knocked the door. When there was no response from inside, they broke open the door and found him hanging to an iron rod, said Kulsumpura Sub-Inspector V Satyanarayana.
He said Nithesh was in a relationship with a girl, a resident of Ziaguda. When he informed the same to his mother on Saturday, she said the matter could be discussed at the girl’s house on Sunday morning. Meanwhile, Nithesh hanged himself to death at his house in the early hours of Sunday, said the police.
In spite of getting an assurance from his family that his love matter would be discussed, Nithesh took the drastic step, said the police who booked a case based on a complaint and handed over the victim’s body to the family members after conducting an autopsy at Osmania General Hospital mortuary.
