22-year-old woman jumps to death from hostel building in Hyderabad’s Madhapur

According to police officials,the woman was staying at a hostel for the last one year

Hyderabad: A 22-year-old woman died by suicide at Madhapur late on Monday. She was staying at a hostel in Siddiqnagar.

“On Monday night, at around 10.30 pm, she went to the sixth floor of the hostel building and jumped. She died on the spot,” said the Madhapur police.

On information, the police reached the spot and shifted the body for postmortem to Osmania General Hospital. A case was registered.

The police are trying to ascertain the reasons that prompted the woman to take the drastic step.
