22,000 individuals on high risk groups vaccinated in GHMC limits on Friday

Hyderabad: The State government’s vaccination drive for those in high risk groups began in the limits of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation here on Friday.
According to officials, elaborate arrangements were made and the word was spread among roadside hawkers, people working in grocery shops and delivery executives of e-commerce portals and food delivery apps.
Around 22,000 persons are said to have taken the vaccination on Friday during the drive that began at 8 am.
The jab was given to those who produced tokens given to them by GHMC employees.
