Yes, as you must have guessed, the world’s first 22K gold plated vada pav is now available to show its magic on the streets of Dubai.
Hyderabad: ‘Vada Pav’ has not only been a favourite snack in India, but looks like the Emiratis drool over it too.
Now, the evening savoury has got a new ‘golden’ twist. Yes, as you must have guessed, the world’s first 22K gold plated vada pav is now available to show its magic on the streets of Dubai.
The vada is said to be made of truffle butter and cheese which is then covered with an edible 22K gold foil. The mouth-watering ‘golden’ vada pav is sold at a whopping price of AED 100 (roughly around Rs 2,000).

Well, this is not the first time a food is given the golden twist. Previously, a burger, named ‘Oro Mccoy’, came covered with a layer of pure 24-karat gold in Colombia.
