24-year-old construction worker dies of electrocution in Gachibowli
A 24-year-old construction worker from Uttar Pradesh died after being electrocuted at a site in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, on Saturday evening. The victim, Mohd Yousuf, collapsed after touching live wires and died later while undergoing treatment. Police have registered a case.
Hyderabad: A 24 year-old man died due to electrocution at Gachibowli on Saturday night.
The victim Mohd Yousuf (24), a resident of Hafeezpet and a native of Morabadad in Uttar Pradesh, was working at a construction site when he accidentally touched live electrical cables on Saturday evening. He got electrocuted and collapsed on the ground. He was rushed to a hospital where he died while undergoing treatment in the night, said the Gachibowli police.
A case is registered.
