Warangal: The Task Force police raided a PDS rice stock depot on the outskirts of Agapet village in Narmetta mandal and seized illegal storage dump of PDS rice of approximately 250 quintals on Monday. One person was arrested in this connection.
The arrested person, Kalayanam Chandramouli, disclosed that he had purchased the rice from surrounding villages and was transporting it to needy people and poultry farms at high prices. The seized property and the arrested person were handed over to Narmetta police for further action.
