2,500 police personnel to man Messi GOAT Tour Hyderabad match

Hyderabad: A massive force of 2,500 police personnel will oversee security for the Messi GOAT Tour – Live Event football match on December 13 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal.
The deployment includes law and order units, traffic police, TSSP/AR platoons, Octopus teams, Mounted Police and specialised wings. The stadium and surrounding areas have been brought under tight surveillance with 450 CCTV cameras, a joint command and control room, and round-the-clock anti-sabotage checks by bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs.
Spectators will be allowed entry only through QR-coded digital tickets, with strict checks at all gates. Bags, cameras, water bottles, electronic devices and outside food are among the banned items.
She Teams and dedicated squads will monitor crowd behaviour, vendors and black-ticket activity. Officials advised attendees to use designated parking zones and arrive early, as gates will open three hours before the event.
