Police said he was reportedly depressed after his parents refused to get him married

Hyderabad: A 28-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself to death at Kukatpally. Police said he was reportedly depressed after his parents refused to get him married. According to the police, Shaik Irfan (28), a motorcycle mechanic, lived with his family at Moosapet. On Wednesday night, Irfan came home and told his parents that he wanted to get married.

“However, they asked him to wait for a few more months since his elder brother was yet to get married. Irfan was reportedly depressed over this and later hanged himself,” the Kukatpally police said. A case under Section 174 of CrPC was registered and investigation is on.
