Hyderabad: As part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) activities, a ‘2K Run – Ready, Set, Vote!’ was organised from Krishnakant Park, Yousufguda on Saturday, ahead of the Jubilee Hills by-election.
Participants raised slogans ‘I vote for sure’ and ‘No voter to be left behind’, and displayed placards. The event aimed to engage, educate, and empower citizens about the importance of participating in the democratic process.
Hundreds of enthusiastic participants, including youth, students, officials, and community members, took part in the run.
The SVEEP initiative focuses on creating awareness among voters to verify their details, re-check their names in the electoral rolls, and exercise their right to vote responsibly in the upcoming by-election. The event concluded with an appeal to all citizens to reaffirm their commitment to democracy by ensuring their active participation.
