30 motorists booked by Hyderabad police for using phones while driving
During a special enforcement drive near Ambedkar Square at Necklace Rotary, Saifabad Traffic Police booked 30 motorists for using mobile phones while driving.
Hyderabad: As many as 30 motorists were booked by Saifabad Traffic Police for using mobile phones while driving during a special enforcement drive near Ambedkar Square at Necklace Rotary on Saturday.
Police said the offenders were counselled on the dangers of distracted driving, stressing that using mobile phones behind the wheel significantly increases accident risks.
Special drives will continue in order to promote road safety and curb traffic violations, they added.
