31-year-old dairy farmer killed after tractor hits bike in Telangana’s Mancherial
Bayya Madhukar was carrying milk from Gudipet to Mancherial at the time of the accident; a hit-and-run case registered against the tractor driver
Mancherial: A dairy farmer was killed on the spot when a tractor hit the motorcycle he was riding on a bridge near Mulkalla village in Hajipur mandal on Thursday.
Hajipur Sub-Inspector N Swarup Raj said the farmer was identified as Bayya Madhukar (31) from Gudipet village. He sustained serious injuries when the tractor hit the motorbike, resulting in instantaneous death for him around 6.30 am. He was carrying milk from Gudipet to Mancherial at the time of the accident.
Bayya Sattaiah, Madhukar’s father, lodged a complaint with the police. A hit-and-run case was registered against the driver of the tractor. Investigations were taken up. A search was launched to nab the accused driver, who fled the spot soon after the accident.
