Hyderabad: A woman allegedly committed suicide after an argument with her mother-in-law in Golconda here on Monday.

Police said the woman, Bibi Begum (32), had an argument with her mother-in-law Safiya Begum, with the latter scolding Bibi over the tea she had made. She is suspected to have then hanged herself to death from a ceiling fan in the bedroom.

Based on a complaint, the Golconda police booked a case and are investigating.
