35-year-old woman murdered by alcoholic husband in Telangana’s Mancherial
Thirupathi used to pick up arguments with his wife Mudimadugula Tulasi suspecting her fidelity; on Wednesday night, he attacked Tulasi when he was in an inebriated condition

Mancherial: A woman was murdered allegedly by her husband suspecting her fidelity at Mettupalli village on Wednesday night. Police said that Mudimadugula Tulasi (35) was hacked to death by Thirupathi at their residence at around 11 pm. Tulasi suffered profuse bleeding and death was instant for her.
Thirupathi, an alcoholic, attacked Tulasi when he was in an inebriated condition. He used to pick up arguments with her under the influence of liquor by suspecting her fidelity. Tulasi was married to Thirupathi 14 years ago. The couple has a five-year-old daughter.
Durke Shankar, the victim’s father, lodged a complaint with the police. A murder case was registered against Thirupathi. Investigations were taken up. A search was launched for nabbing the accused person who was absconding following the incident.
