Hyderabad: The State government on Tuesday accorded permission for upgradation of 36 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) into the Class XI and XII.

According to an order issued by the government, permission was granted to the Director of School Education and ex-officio State project director, Samagra Shiksha, for upgrading to Class XI for the academic year 2021-22 and Class XII for the academic year 2022-23 progressively in 36 KGBVs (Telugu/English medium).
