Jayashankar Bhupalpally: Mahadevpur police seized 40 quintals of rice meant for the PDS at Kudurupally cross road in the mandal on Monday.

Police arrested two accused, Mutyala Srinivas of Beglur and Aitha Santhosh of Sironcha of Maharastra State. SI Anil Kumar said they also seized two pickup trucks used in the illegal transportation of the rice to Maharastra. “We have registered a case,” he added.
