On Friday, 6,361 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 88.91 percent

4,305 new cases, 29 deaths in Telangana on Friday

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 4,305 new Covid infections and 29 fatalities on Friday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 2,896 and the total number of positive cases to 5,20,709. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Friday evening, is 54,832.

Between Thursday and Friday, authorities conducted 57,416 Covid tests of which results of 1714 samples were awaited. On Friday, 6,361 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 88.91 percent. So far, a total of 1,39,52,378 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,20,709, tested positive and 4,62,981 persons have recovered.


The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 34 from Adilabad, 130 from Bhadradri, 607 from areas under GHMC, 125 from Jagtial, 63 from Jangaon, 76 from Bhupalpally, 71 from Gadwal, 36 from Kamareddy, 229 from Karimnagar, 222 from Khammam, 29 from Asifabad, 137 from Mahabubnagar, 94 from Mahabubabad, 139 from Mancherial, 47 from Medak, 291 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 51 from Mulugu, 143 from Nagarkurnool, 246 from Nalgonda, 26 from Narayanpet, 25 from Nirmal, 82 from Nizamabad, 134 from Peddapalli, 71 from Siricilla, 293 from Rangareddy, 111 from Sangareddy, 169 from Siddipet, 31 from Suryapet, 158 from Vikarabad, 110 from Wanaparthy, 122 from Warangal Rural, 128 from Warangal Urban and 75 from Bhongir.
